How do you stay friends with your ex?

well when he said it like that i couldnt say no


without feeling my heartbreak inside


i knew it was going to be hard for me


because i knew i still loved him

just show your love of being a FRIEND. forget anything happened from your past and start all over again as a good friend of him. you can still show your care for him but you must know now your limitations. but the good part there is, you are building a good relationship, and who knows? maybe someday he will realize that he's still inlove with you. just be natural and sincere to him like you do to your friends. goodluckHow do you stay friends with your ex?
Some people can. Some people cant. I guess it all depends on how your relationship was while you were together, why you broke up and how you broke up. If he says he still wants to be friends, I see no harm in that. I am still friends with my ex and even friends with his girlfriend. LOL It was weird at first but once you find someone new, you will start feeling more comfortable being friends with your ex. Good luck *_*
you dont have to if you dont want to be but just be a regular friend jealousy will b a normal for you if another cic comes a lon nothin is worng with that but there has to be a friendship boundaries between you too and you have to let him know when certain things happen that are urting you let him know just out of the respect of you and the friendship

maybe later on in life you two can be friends but for now you should focus on yourself. Your ex is obviously taking my advice.
You should just make a clean break and move on. If you stay as friend you are only going to have your heart stay broken and you have to deal with him and other girls. There is 300 million people in the Unitied Stated alone. Move on, you will be much better off.
you'll eventually get over it, forgetting he ever broke up with you, then maybe that when yall can become friends. or you can just never talk to him again
its really hard to stay friends, because you will always have some form of resentment, if you want friendship, then try talking about it and find some common ground
